Our story
The Ark of Light was established with a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people who are often overlooked, forgotten or facing difficult circumstances.
Poverty, loneliness, addiction and the loss of family support can leave people feeling helpless and without direction. We believe everyone deserves dignity, compassion and respect, regardless of their circumstances.
Our approach is centred on caring for the whole person: responding to immediate needs while working towards lasting restoration through community support, practical assistance, spiritual encouragement and personal development.

To see individuals, families and communities restored through compassion, dignity, faith and practical support, creating a future in which vulnerable people are cared for, children are given hope, and those facing difficult circumstances have an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
Our mission
To serve vulnerable and disadvantaged people through community outreach, care for the elderly, support for destitute children, addiction recovery initiatives, spiritual care and the development of safe, supportive environments for those in need. We connect compassion with action to create opportunities for lasting change.
